This is Rachel — student of law, wearer of black clothes, owner of amazing apartment. Several months ago, she contacted me for what she described as “day in the life photos” of her and her partner. Up until that point, I hadn’t really considered couples photoshoots beyond they way that they are typically done. My conversation with her is what sparked the idea behind the documentary lifestyle sessions for couples that I’ve recently been doing.
That documentary approach doesn’t have to be limited to couples only! I met Rachel for a regular headshot session -- these photos are the before and after that I documented. Would love to do more lifestyle portraits like this in the future!
