1. Portrait / headshot sessions for individuals

Most of my clients are everyday people who come to me for portraits or headshots. Some need headshots for professional uses (LinkedIn, personal website, press), while others need portraits for creative projects (album cover, acting portfolios, artist profiles). Some don’t have a specific reason other than wanting a portrait session as a gift to themselves.

Regardless of why you need a portrait, my goal is to make the experience comfortable, collaborative and customized to you and your preferences. I strive to make portraits that feel natural and alive, rather than clinical or too corporate.

A. Simplified Portrait Session

For those who just need straightforward, professional portraits or headshots, I offer a shorter studio session. We’ll move at a comfortable pace and create a solid range of images for you to choose from.

  • 1 hour

  • $350 session fee (tax included)

  • $25 / photo selected

B. Standard Portrait Session

This more in-depth portrait experience is designed to give us time and space to create images that feel natural and authentic to you. Whether for personal branding, creative projects, or personal use, this session allows for variety in looks and settings while keeping the process relaxed and collaborative.

  • 2 hours

  • $450 session fee (tax included)

  • $25 / photo selected

Optional add-ons:

  • On-location shoot (+$50-150)

  • Hair/make-up artist (+$150-200)

  • During our pre-shoot call, we’ll discuss your goals and make adjustments to this package if your session requires more time or preparation.

C. Custom Portrait Sessions

It’s hard to fit the diversity of people’s portrait needs into packages. Feel free to get in touch if these packages aren’t quite right for you and we’ll try to figure something out!

  • Before the session

It all starts with an email from you!

Some people have a clear idea of what they want, others have no idea. I’ll follow-up to figure out the details (location, format, style, etc.).

Depending on your needs, we might pick a shoot date right away. If your needs are a bit more complex, we might first meet in a video call and brainstorm the shoot concept together further (concept, style, location, logistics).

By the time we’ve picked a shoot date, I’ll have sent you more information on how to prepare for the session and we should both have a clear idea on what the shoot will be.

    During the session

In a typical session, we generally start by reviewing your photo needs together.

Then, as we start shooting, I'll be able to guide you throughout when it comes to posing and expressions. We can do as many different looks as you’d like, but 1-3 looks per hour is recommended for comfortable pacing.

An important part of my process is for you to be able to see the photos that we take. Depending on timing, we’ll take breaks to review the photos together. I want to make sure that you leave the studio happy with the results you’ll have seen.

    After the session

Not long after the session, you’ll receive a gallery to review the photos and choose the one(s) you want to purchase.

I’ll then post-process your selection and send you the photos. Turnaround time is generally 1-3 business days, but it depends on how long you need to select your photos.

  • I’m located on 2205 Parthenais in the Chat des Artistes building.

  • Trust me, we’ve got this :)

I think about 90% of the people who come to me have never been photographed professionally before, and that’s totally fine.

Keep in mind that I work almost exclusively with non-models, and I take pride in making great portraits of inexperienced people. I think that guiding inexperienced subjects and making them comfortable is my biggest strength as a photographer.

I always do my best to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. I'll never expect you to come prepared at the sessions knowing what to do in front of the camera.

Depending on the assignment, we may or may not have met before the photo session to brainstorm. Regardless, I always give ourselves a bit of time before the session to chat, to answer any last questions you might have, and to review how we're going to proceed with the shoot.

When we transition into shooting, as you're getting used to being photographed, I'm also adjusting my lights and getting used to the space. I show you the photos early and often (and we laugh at the bad ones). We figure out together what kinds of angles and expressions work best for you, and we progress photo by photo until you're happy with the result.

I’ve also found that people are often relieved when they realize that I don’t expect my subjects to perform for the camera. Instead, I give very specific instructions (e.g. lift your chin a tiny bit, point your nose towards the corner of the room, look at this spot on the wall, etc.).

Let me know if you have any questions!

2. Corporate headshots for teams

You might be reaching out on behalf of your business, startup, or organization for headshots of multiple people. I’d be happy to help! Each company has its own needs, but to give you a general idea, I’ve outlined my typical process below.

  • Consultation to determine branding, format, style, logistics, etc. What is most important for your team? Just simple headshots? Ensuring that the headshots remain consistent even as the team grows over the years? Showcasing the beautiful office space in different dynamic portraits? I’ll walk you through our different headshot style options and share the pros and cons.

  • Portable studio kit. I bring my lighting to your office so we can create beautiful light regardless of the time of day or weather.

  • 15-minute sessions per person. This is what I recommend as my sweet spot for efficiency and quality, but I am flexible.

  • Coaching and guidance for all subjects. In any given group, the level of comfort in front of the camera will vary greatly. I’ll guide each person through the shoot to make sure we have something natural and comfortable. I’ll have them select their favourite photo.

  • Additional photos? Some companies request corporate day-in-the-life kind of documentary photos to use as stock photos or for social media. Others may request, in addition to standardized headshots, a few extra editorial portraits of a key member of the team who may have more of a front-facing role.

To receive a team quote, please let me know:

  • Office location

  • Number of employees

  • Headshot style desired (if you have decided)

  • Whether you may need additional photos beyond the headshots

3. Other contracts

In addition to portraiture, I regularly collaborate with clients on a wide range of projects that don’t necessarily fit into the packages presented above.

These shoots vary widely in scope, so I provide custom quotes based on the project. If you have one in mind, reach out with as much detail and ideas as you have for now, and I’ll be happy to discuss how we can bring it to life.

While these projects are diverse in subject and scope, my approach remains the same: I work collaboratively with clients, creating images with intention, favouring authenticity and natural expression over a clinical or overly staged look. No matter the type of shoot, my goal is to capture work that feels alive, genuine, and tailored to each client’s vision.
